A fantastic combination: The Schweizer Surgical LED-headband Magnifier with all interchangeable prisms.
Since we have launched these they have become a favorite in hospitals and health clinics. The quality and value is fantastic. The Tech-Line Bino's come with a 2 year guarantee.

This Professional Set contains the complete range of prisms: 1.85x, 2x, 2.5x, 2.75x 3x and 3.5x each with responding working distances (see above or details). The adjustable LED unit is for adjusting the lighting to the respective working distance.

Prismatic, metal-mounted silicate-glass lenses are incorporated into the light, sturdy metal structure that has a flip-up function. The optics are made from silicate glass, which is very scratch-resistant, has a very high resolution (very sharp!) and produces an extremely high contrast image- Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52). The housing (as well as the optics) is resistant to nearly all chemicals and solvents. A long-life high-performance LED with a lighting color of approximately 6000K rounds off this magnifier. The headband magnifier is also perfect if you wear spectacles: you can keep your spectacles on without discomfort .Spare prisms will always be available- something to look out for when investing in a magnifier.

Delivery of the Professional Set comprises of 6 prisms, the LED-headband including the case padded with rubber foam for safe storage and transport.

The silicate-glass optics used in Schweizer's Tech-Line magnifiers are 100% manufactured in Germany. Not only do they contain the best optical features, they are also very scratch-resistant! (especially in comparison with plastic lenses).
- All magnifiers with a silver coating are coated with a special 2-component-coating:
Resistant to hand perspiration.
Resistant to nearly all solvents/chemicals.
Very hard and plane surface, scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
Schweizer uses environmentally-friendly, energy-saving and extremely long-life high-performance LEDs (light colour approx. 6000 K).
