An ideal reading aid. This magnifying glass is intended for people with poor vision, but it has also become indispensable for professionals, model-makers and hobby collectors.

 A precision hand magnifier with a highly polished biconvex glass lens of exceptional quality. The extremely hard surface is resistant to chemical and mechanical influences making this magnifier all the more durable. In its manufacture Schweizer uses only crown glass which absorbs ultraviolet rays and is also used for corrective spectacle lenses (refractive index n=1.52).
