Magnifier Lamp 'Long Flexible Arm'

This magnifier has an open lens, spring-arm Swan-neck and desk-clamp including a 13W energy saving lamp. A 50W lamp version is optional.

The lens is made from polished silicate glass, which is very scratch- and solvent resistant. Its resolution is also very high (very sharp!)- Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52) making this magnifier a must for a professional inspection unit. The actual framing is made out of polyamide plastic. 
  The special construction of having an open glass lens gives you the extra bit of comfort while without having a frame obstructing your view enabling you to hold it close up to the edges for finer inspection. The 13W energy saving lamp (tube) gives a contrast rich, shadow free lighting and is low on thermal radiation.
