PEAK #2004 Precision Measuring Magnifier – 10x with 5 Interchangeable Scales
This precision measuring magnifier features achromatic (color error-corrected) coated optics, composed of three lens elements arranged in two groups. It successfully eliminates the typical compromise between high resolution and a wide field of view, offering powerful and accurate performance. To enhance light transmission, the lenses are equipped with an anti-reflective (AR) coating.
The magnifier is supplied with a protective box and five measuring scales (#2, #3, #7, #8, and #10). Additional black and white scales are available as optional accessories.

In optical design, an achromat is a lens system composed of two lenses made from glasses with different Abbe numbers (i.e., different levels of dispersion). It typically consists of a converging lens (crown glass) and a diverging lens (flint glass). This combination corrects the longitudinal chromatic aberration inherent in single lenses for two specific wavelengths, ensuring that both colors are brought into the same focus.
