A fantastic inspection tool. The black lens housing prevents reflections while the casing is made of high-grade stainless steel, making the magnifier very robust and providing the lenses with maximum protection in demanding working conditions.

The lenses are scratch-resistant and produce a very sharp, high-contrast image. Schweizer uses UV-absorbing optical crown glass as used in prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52).
