This Working Stand Magnifier is mounted with a black coated solid cast base (Ø 130 mm) and has a long chromed, flexible metal swan neck (300mm). The lens housing/frame is plated with nickel.

Equipped with an aplanatic, respectively a biconvex lens system, the working stand magnifier fulfills highest optical requirement! The lens is made from very scratch- and solvent resistant high-grade silicate glass. The lens has a very high resolution (very sharp). Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52) making this magnifier a must for a professional inspection unit.
