A fantastic inspection tool. The black lens housing prevents reflections while the casing is made out of high-grade stainless steel which makes the magnifier very robust and protects the lenses even in tough working conditions. The loupe head is riveted to the casing to avoid it coming loose compared with screws.

The lenses are scratch-resistant and produce a very sharp and extremely high contrast image. Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52).
