Pure innovation: this is the first magnifying glass with an intuitive single-hand operation design. Its intelligent shape supports steady holding and gives the surface a perfect feel - a clear advantage when it comes to quality inspecting.
The biconvex multi-lenses can be combined for extra magnification (3x + 3x + 3x = 6x or 9x magnification). A nice lanyard is included. Its lenses are made from silicate glass, which is very scratch-resistant, has a very high resolution and produces an extremely high contrast image. Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52). The optics are unbeatable.
The housing is shock-resistant and has a low-reflection surface. It is coated with a special 2-component coating which is scratch-resistant. Additionally, this coating is resistant to hand perspiration and nearly all chemicals and solvents.
