Materials

The plastics used for this product fulfill the DIN norm (Deutche Industrie Norm) including the EU requirements for processed materials.

Cheap plastics can contain contaminants such as lead or other damaging chemicals. The plastics from this product are pure and safe.

Lens

The aspheric lens's more complex surface profile can eliminate spherical aberration and reduce other optical aberrations compared to a simple lens.

A single aspheric lens can often replace a much more complex multi-lens system. The resulting device is smaller and lighter, and possibly cheaper than the multi-lens design. This is a unique combination for a classic magnifier and was made 100% in Germany.
