The aplanatic lens system makes this watchmaker loupe a highly sophisticated inspection tool. Two magnifications, 6x or 10x are available. The housing is made of light-plastic with an air-circulation hole.
The lens is made from silicate glass, which is very scratch-resistant, has a very high resolution and produces an extremely high contrast image. Schweizer uses a UV absorbent optical crown as used with prescription lenses (refractive index n=1.52). The optics remain unbeatable!

Schweizer provides a guarantee of ten years from the date of purchase (as shown on receipt) for any defects attributable to material or manufacturer errors. The guarantee does not cover power packs for illuminated magnifying glasses or parts subject to wear and tear (small lamps, batteries, etc.). Damage caused by incorrect use or due to impact is not covered by the guarantee.
