This splendid silver magnifier is more than just an inspection magnifier for every day use. The Peak 2060 stand magnifier was developed for private use as a luxurious inspection loupe. The 35 mm diameter lense is framed with a 925 sterling silver handle (containing approx. 35 grams of pure silver). The Peak 2060 stand lupe has extraordinarily good bi-convex, crown glass lense (identical to hand-held magnifier 2059) which is distortion-free right up to the edge.
This magnifier can be gripped with two fingers at the rear bar to move it to the right position. This design ensures that the lense cannot be scratched when laid to rest and not in use. A hand-held magnifier, such as the 2059, is always at risk to be scratched when laid down. The transport box consists is lined with silk. Made in Japan.
